WBA Bodypainting Weekend in Hvar, Croatia

The WBA-supported event recently took place on the captivating island of Hvar, Croatia, marking a significant occasion in the realm of bodypainting.

Over the course of two consecutive days, seven exceptionally talented artists showcased their artistic prowess alongside their stunning models, mesmerizing spectators with their mastery.

 Filippo ioco (USA), Ernst Wieser (Austria), Katrin Rausch and Silke Kirchhoff (Germany), Piera di Maio and Yuri Falzetti (Italy), and Moona Jin from South Korea, each contributed to the creation of awe-inspiring art pieces. Capturing the essence of these remarkable works, Alex Barendregt and Daniel Janesch skillfully photographed every model against the backdrop of the picturesque bay.

As night fell, the island's guests had the privilege of witnessing captivating performances and interacting with the bodypainted models at various locations. The atmosphere was vibrant, offering a unique opportunity for people to immerse themselves in this captivating art form.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Hvar Tourist Board for extending their invitation and extending a warm welcome to us. We are grateful to Lorena Matas and the organizing team for orchestrating such a memorable event. Our participation allowed us to create beautiful memories while promoting and introducing the art of bodypainting to a wider audience.
